Looking to mix up your menu while social distancing? Skip the delivery and make pizza as a group from the comfort of your own kitchens! At the same time, you’ll be making sure that children with disabilities can access virtual culinary education and build confidence from home.
In this family-friendly virtual cooking class, a professional chef will lead you through a homemade pizza recipe, including pizza dough, pizza sauce, and toppings of your choice. The chef will go at your group’s pace and answer questions about the recipe and any ingredient substitutions. The class will be facilitated by an additional staff member from the organization, who will field questions for the chef throughout the class. By the end of the 1-hour session, you’ll have supported your community in a time of need—and made yourself a great meal!
